Long-Term Care Consumer Guide

Two older women laugh and embrace as they sit together on a bed.

The Ohio Long-Term Care Consumer Guide is an online resource to help individuals, families, and professionals identify and compare long-term care facilities around the state. Facilities include nursing homes, assisted living (residential care facilities), supportive living, and residential treatment facilities.

The guide can help you:

  • Identify available providers in your area by county, city, facility type, facility name, services, and keywords;
  • Compare facilities on a range of factors including recent inspection results, resident and family satisfaction surveys, special care services, services to non-residents, size, rates, and more. *Not all features are available for every facility type.
  • View facility-entered information, including staff, contact information, policies, payment options, and more.

You'll also find advice, tips, and resources to help you select a provider.

The Ohio Long-Term Care Consumer Guide is a service of the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
