Healthy Lifestyle Programs - Healthy lifestyle programs can help you take control of your life and manage your health conditions. These "evidence-based" programs are proven, community initiatives that provide health benefits and promote disease prevention.

Golden Buckeye Card Program - More than two million Ohioans are eligible for the Golden Buckeye card, which is honored at 20,000 businesses statewide and has save cardholders an estimated $2 billion since 1976. All Ohioans age 60 or older, as well as adults age 18-59 who have disabilities as defined by Social Security, are eligible for a free Golden Buckeye Card.

Long-term Care Ombudsman Programs - Ohio’s Office of the State Long-term Care Ombudsman advocates for people receiving home care, assisted living and nursing home care. Paid and volunteer staff work to resolve complaints about services, help people select a provider and offer information about benefits and consumer rights.

Senior Community Service Employment Program - This paid work experience program for low-income adults age 55 and older offers training in positions such as receptionists, typists, secretarial assistants, nutrition aides, security guards, maintenance workers, teachers' aides and more.
