Assistance with Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage

The 2007 Medicare Prescription Drug Program Open Enrollment Period begins November 15 and runs through December 31, 2007. During this time, beneficiaries may enroll in a prescription drug program or Medicare Advantage plan or change plans if already enrolled. New or changed coverage will begin January 1.

If you are interested in enrolling in prescription drug coverage or changing your current coverage, ask yourself these questions to assess your current coverage to determine if you should consider making changes.

  1. Will your premium and prescription costs change in 2008?
  2. Do you need more comprehensive coverage in 2008?
  3. Will the prescription drugs you take be covered by your plan in 2008?
  4. Are you satisfied with the service you receive from your plan?
